Firestone wanted to create a value-priced wine during the early 1990’s recession. The high-impact label portrayed the idea of getting back to basics and adopting a positive, can do attitude. The consumer got a good wine with a positive message in the form of Prosperity Red.
The label and a poster version were selected for the inclusion in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress, one of the highest honors a graphic design can achieve.
